  4. Don't be idiots and assume. I've read about it before. It was a beached whale and it was dead by the time people found it. It was being transported to some research centre for scientists to identify the reason for it to get beached in order to avoid similar incidents in future. While being transported, the whale's stomach exploded due to massive gas accumulation.
